Kelly Xu-China
Kelly Xu graduated from her degree after spending just one year at UCLan, having studied the first two years of her course in her home city of Guangzhou.
The BA (Hons) course in International Business is one of UCLan's franchise courses, in which the first two years are studied in China, with the student living in Preston for the final year.
And Kelly has enjoyed every minute of her time here. "Preston is a very nice and very quiet place to study compared with back home," she said.
"And my English has improved so much in such a short period, just form speaking to other English students."
Kelly is shortly returning to China to look for work, and she admits that studying in the UK has been a valuable experience: "I came to UCLan to gain more life experience and learn about the culture.
"I realised how important studying in another country can be when I spent a semester in Australia last year."
