Caribbean Carnival in Preston 25 May 2008
On Sunday 25 May 2008, the annual Caribbean Carnival procession will take place throughout the streets of Preston.
The procession starts at 12pm, on Avenham Park.
Organised by a team of volunteers, Preston Caribbean carnival is one of the largest and longest running cultural celebrations in Preston.
The carnival is open to people of all ages, and ethnic backgrounds.
From 12 noon to 6 pm, lavish and brightly colour costumes as the parade passes through the city centre.
Come along and enjoy music, dancing, food and a true party athmosphere.
